High Definition Ultrasound
High definition ultrasound means enhanced edges and margins for more sharply defined structures. It also means reduced noise and image artifact for better visibility and contrast of even the smallest structures. Prestonwood Imaging’s Phillips HD-11 system includes 4-D imaging, the fourth dimension being time, and is the latest in ultrasound technology. By taking three-dimensional still ultrasound images and adding the additional angles, a more accurate and realistic quality is achieved.
